Introduction to Embodied Equity:March 23, 1-5pmThe Beehive291 Main St, Beacon, NY 12508
The Embodied Equity Project calls white people together for critical anti-racism, embodied human development, and accountable community practices. Using a unique lens that moves us beyond an intellectual analysis of racism, straight into our bodies, we transform white fragility into grounded resilience and accountable actions to interrupt racism.
The workshop focuses on issues of race, privilege, and oppression through experiential exercises that welcome emotions and complexity. We offer a compassionate and challenging approach to undoing the legacy of white supremacy from the inside out so that we can sustain the struggle toward collective liberation.
